FESTIVAL IKFEM

The International Keyboard Festival & Masterclass of the Eurociudad Tui-Valença is an essential date with music to discover the rich cultural heritage of the Iberian Peninsula. Andrea González founded the festival in 2013 with the mission to create a space for cultural enrichment in which there are no geographical, cultural or aesthetic limits.

The festival crosses frontiers by programming a great variety of musical styles with the common thread of keyboard instruments, which are present in all historical periods. The Eurocity Tui-Valença favors cultural exchange due to its geographical cross-border nature and because it is the gateway to the Camino de Santiago for pilgrims from all over the world.

Concerts, masterclasses and parallel activities flood the heritage spaces of the Eurocity that become stages where artists such as Ainhoa Arteta, Carlos Núñez, Os Azeitonas, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, Júlio Resende and many others perform, being the international bridge that connects Spain and Portugal the most extraordinary location of the festival.
