Fashion Bridge was created by Andrea Gonzalez to highlight the relationship between music and fashion as artistic expressions that feed back into each other as a perfect symbiosis of artistic identity. It is also presented as a tribute to the important ties of the creative and textile sector in the Iberian Peninsula.

In 2019, the international bridge linking the border cities of Tui (Spain) and Valença (Portugal) was a walkway for the designs of Agatha Ruiz de la Prada and Katty Xiomara accompanied by the music that inspired their collections. In addition, the round table “A bridge between Spanish and Portuguese fashion” was held with Cristina Palomares from Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, Alberto Rocha from the Confederación de Industrias Textiles de Galicia (COINTEGA), Paulo Vaz from the Associação Têxtil e Vestuário de Portugal (ATP) and Ángel Asensio from Moda España.

In 2021, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada and the young Galician designers María Lázara, Bibi Martín, África Abadín and Alejandro Sierra -students of the Master’s Degree in Fashion Design and Creative Management (ESDEMGA) at the University of Vigo- exhibited their collections, linking the emotional story of each collection to a concert at the festival.
